What is Entrupy
Entrupy is an industry-leading authentication system that combines microscopic imaging with machine learning to assess the authenticity of luxury goods. The Entrupy device captures highly detailed images (up to 260x magnification), analysing materials, stitching, and hardware at a level not visible to the naked eye. These images are compared against a vast database of to deliver a result in minutes (most items) to hours (for Hermes).
Accuracy and Objectivity
Entrupy provides an accuracy rate of 99.86%, offering a consistent and objective assessment. Unlike purely human authentication, which can vary depending on experience or interpretation, Entrupy uses data-driven analysis. This removes subjectivity and reduces the risk of bias. The system is designed to identify even sophisticated “superfakes” by detecting inconsistencies in materials and construction.
